Lehigh Water Gap

The Lehigh Water Gap is a wonderful display of earth's true forces.
The rock exposure at this location is one of the greatest in Pennsylvania.

The Lehigh Water Gap received its namesake from the Lehigh River.Over a long period of time, the Lehigh slowly eroded though the Blue Mountain range near Palmerton to create a gap visible throughout the Lehigh Valley.
